The Albert House

Ours is a big comfy former farmhouse with historical designation in the town of Williamsville, NY. We have a barn, a large flower garden, and loads of parking, all in a village setting. I live in this house with my youngest child (out of 9!). Two large comfortable rooms are set aside on the second floor for guests, so stair climbing is necessary. Each has a queen bed, desk and ample seating. I can put a twin mattress in one room if needed. Two full baths are shared with my family. The space Our house was built around 1904. We have an old horse barn out back (but no horses), and hitching posts out front. In the backyard is an old well with a pump that ran off a hit-and-miss engine to transport water to a holding tank in the barn. We have historical designation through the town of Amherst, as a typical vernacular farmhouse. Guest access There is a coffee bar in the kitchen for your use. There is always extra room in the fridge if you need it, and a microwave to warm things up in, but please, no serious cooking. Relax in our family and living rooms, read our books, and play the piano. There are multiple chairs outside in the garden. We have a tv downstairs with dvd player, but no regular tv service. During your stay We would love to get to know you, but we'll give you plenty of privacy, too. Other things to note Please - no alcohol, drugs or smoking of any kind at the Albert House. It is a family home.
