Romantic cottage with amazing views & private pool

Escape to Somni, a cosy Mallorcan hideaway in Galilea with private pool, sunny terrace and sweeping views across the Tramuntana mountains to the Mediterranean. Set in a traditional mountain village, 5 minutes from the square and 30 minutes from Palma and west coast beaches, it is a beautiful base for exploring Mallorca and enjoying golden evenings. The space Somni is best suited to couples looking for a small, cosy and private place to stay in the Tramuntana mountains. The cottage has one main bedroom with a queen-sized bed and beautiful views towards the sea and across the surrounding mountains. There is also a small separate room, which is most useful for suitcases, storage or extra space during your stay. The kitchen and living area are bright and practical, with views out towards the pool and the forested hillsides beyond. The house has air conditioning for the warmer months, heating for cooler days, and a wood burner which makes the cottage especially cosy in winter. Somni faces south, so it enjoys lovely natural light and winter sunshine. The private pool is entirely for your use and is maintained throughout the year. There is private parking within the property, suitable for a compact car. The garden is intentionally kept quite wild, creating a more natural mountain feel and allowing biodiversity to thrive around the house. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the whole cottage, private pool, sun terrace, garden and parking area within the property. Somni is a self-contained cottage, so there are no shared areas with other guests. The pool is maintained throughout the year, and the garden is intentionally kept natural and a little wild to support biodiversity. The property is ideal for couples looking for their own private space in Galilea, while still being only a short walk from the village centre. Other things to note Please note that there is currently a building project on land near Somni, outside our control. The works started in October 2025 and are expected to last approximately 24 months. The site is fairly large. The closest part is roughly opposite the pool area, around 40 metres from the house, while other parts are further away, up to approximately 100 metres. There may be some daytime noise at certain times, mainly during the week and occasionally on Saturday mornings. The level varies a lot from day to day, so we cannot predict exactly what it will be like on specific dates. For many guests, especially those using Somni as a base to explore Mallorca during the day, this may not be a major issue. However, if you are particularly sensitive to noise or plan to spend most days at the property, especially by the pool, please take this into account before booking. Our current prices already reflect the possibility of some daytime disruption and, as a further gesture of goodwill, if building works take place during your stay, we will offer an additional 10% discount at checkout.
