Village Retreat Church:Spectacular Views & NETFLIX

A restored 1890's country Church built in Boolara Gippsland. Moved to the Darnum Musical Village in 1974. An ornate "working" Pipe Organ faces you as you walk into The Church. The Church now has a large bathroom with a claw foot bath,new kitchen,polished original floor boards, large coonara, split system air cond and can sleep 4 in old world charm with modern comforts. Spectacular views of the Strezlecki ranges and green pastures from the private paved outdoor area at the rear of the Church. The space Situated in West Gippsland...The Village Retreat Church was in its original form part of the Darnum Musical Village. The Church has been renovated inside and out and has a lovely warm feel...a very special place. There is a split system to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. There will be an abundant supply of wood for the coonara. The bathroom is very large and the claw foot bath is very relaxing...maybe with a glass of wine and a book? There is a large TV with NETFLIX! There is also a DVD player, DVDs , various board games and books / magazines. A new gas barbecue is available on request. There is a day bed which can be made up if required. The kitchen has everything you need , all cooking utensils, dishes ect plus Coffee Machine,tea,coffee,milk and basic pantry supplies /items. The Church is quite beautiful and just the place... if you are looking for somewhere just that little bit different and special ! Guest access Guests have access to their own private front and back paved courtyards plus the large Retreat garden which has many areas to sit and relax. Other things to note CLEANING The Church will be thoroughly cleaned between stays using highly effective and stringent methods recommended by AIRBNB and the Australian Health Department. Because of this I am no longer offering same day check-ins. If it is mid week then contact me and we can work something out. The Retreat Church and Cottages are all private and completely seperated.
