DETAILED DESCRIPTION INTRODUCTION Welcome to Les Terrasses du Chatelard! Starting from a ruined farmhouse, it has now been more than 10 years since this original renovation began,  with the aim of soon becoming one of the reference places for the organization of festive events in our beautiful region. The final form was obtained 5 years ago, however we make many improvements every year to allow our groups to spend wonderful moments of shared happiness. Our farmhouse hosts many events throughout the year in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy memorable festive moments. THE HOUSE AND ITS RUSTIC SIDE The atmosphere has been deliberately oriented towards a rustic charm, which allows you to party inside and out in peace. This is of course an advantage in the case of a festive event, everything is planned in this sense and even if the decoration is full of nice and original details, you will not have the impression of "walking on eggshells". PARTY ALL YEAR LONG No matter what season your event will take place,  all spaces are available throughout the year.  That being said,  a trend is emerging in relation to seasons and temperatures. From MARCH to OCTOBER, it is usually on the large outdoor terrace that everything happens. It is in the form of a "Mexican-style" inner courtyard, with a pergola-type canisse ceiling but covered with a transparent roof protecting you from an unexpected rain episode. It has a seating capacity of 100 people. There is a professional kitchen, bar, DJ area, wine cellar, game room, pizza oven and barbecue.  It is also equipped with PRM toilets. From NOVEMBER to FEBRUARY/MARCH, it is rather in the cinema/multifunctional room inside the house that everything is organized. It has a seating capacity of 40 people (50 m2). It is located next to the indoor kitchen. It's the winter party hall. From November, a DJ area and all the festive lighting are installed. MUSIC AND NOISE Our farmhouse is located in the middle of the fields without any neighbors, music is allowed on the large terrace throughout the night in reasonable proportions. If you bring your own sound system for the outdoors, you'll just have to be careful and not make the subwoofer resonate in the neighboring valley. If you want to continue all night with more sound, it is possible inside in the cinema/multifunctional room, as long as the bay window and other windows are closed.  360° PANORAMIC VIEW BETWEEN THE ALPS AND PROVENCE One of the greatest assets of our farmhouse, in addition to the fact that we can organize all kinds of festive events,  is its location. On the border between the Alps and Provence,  its panoramic view offers you an exceptional spectacle. On one side the snow-capped peaks of the Ecrins National Park and on the other the gateway to Provence symbolized by the citadel of Sisteron. Lost in the middle of the fields, you won't get tired of breathtaking sunsets. An exceptional natural corner just a 10-minute drive from all amenities. ARRIVAL-DEPARTURE Check-in and check-out times are flexible as long as you let us know in advance. ARRIVAL from Friday morning 8:00 a.m. DEPARTURE and inventory before Sunday evening 8:00 p.m. ACCESSIBILITY AND PRM STANDARDS The house is ERP (Public Reception Establishment) compliant and is therefore accessible indoors and outdoors to people with reduced mobility. A PRM room is available with a suitable bathroom and toilet. The toilets on the large terrace are also up to PRM standards. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The farmhouse has an official capacity of 35 beds. It can be used as a single block (most common case) or be separated into apartments by closing the fire doors. BEDDING Sheets, duvets and pillows provided. You can also bring your own sheets or a sleeping bag. It is strictly forbidden to sleep directly on a mattress and to use the pillows without protection. ROOM PLAN The house is separated into 3 apartments connected by the indoor kitchen and 2 bedrooms/dormitories in the annex accessible from the outside. APARTMENTS: Each of the 3 apartments has a separate entrance, but they are all connected by the indoor kitchen. CAMPING Tents are allowed in the garden. Motorhomes are welcome too, but it is forbidden to connect them to our electrical network. EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE PIZZA OVEN AND BARBECUE PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN The kitchen is equipped with plates, cutlery, glasses, pots and large dishes for groups of 100 people. 4 coffee machines: 2 filter and 2 Senseo Raclette appliances for 20 people Gas and paella dish for 50 people. 1 professional dishwasher and 1 consumer dishwasher 1 gas oven 1 electric oven 2 reheating ovens 1 fridge countertop 4 doors 1 vertical freezer BAR Balloon glasses, water glasses, champagne glasses, carafes, ice bucket 1 fridge countertop 3 doors 1 vertical fridge 1 chest freezer WINE CELLAR We store our tables and chairs there, as well as a chest freezer. The wine cellar can also serve as a festive room with a "chill out" atmosphere, its decoration is very original. In summer, it can also be used for storage because it always remains very cool. VIDEO PROJECTION SCREEN The movie screen is on site, but you have to bring your video projector. The cinema sound system is on site, Bluetooth connection. The screen can be placed either inside in the cinema/multifunctional room, or on the large outdoor terrace, to the east or west. MUSIC A mixing table, with subwoofer and 2 floor-standing speakers, as well as an independent portable amplified speaker are available (Bluetooth connection, jack, USB, CD) LIGHTING Festive lights are available. They can be placed in different locations and work with a remote control. TABLES Tables and chairs are available for groups of up to 100 people. GAMES Billiards, foosball, ping-pong, darts, bowling alley and 4 sets of balls for petanque, molkky, giant power 4, giant chess, giant mikado. FRIDGE AND FREEZER Pro kitchen: 1 fridge countertop 4 doors 1 vertical freezer Indoor kitchen: 1 vertical fridge Bar: 1 countertop fridge with 3-door display case 1 vertical fridge 1 freezer tray Wine cellar 1 chest freezer MANDATORY BASIC STORAGE Everything must be put back in its place and in its original state, tables, chairs, kitchen elements, barbecue, pizza oven, games... The kitchens must be cleaned and all dishes and items put away. Dishwashers must be emptied. All papers, butts, cotton balls or other items must also be collected. The garbage cans must be grouped together and put in our trailer provided for this purpose. We will take care of the removal of these ourselves. PARKING We have 2 different parking spaces: A parking lot with 25 spaces behind the house, very discreet and which allows you to have surprise birthdays because it is totally invisible when you arrive. Parking in the arrival fields that can accommodate up to 50 cars. RULES AND PROHIBITIONS Inside the rooms: no cigarettes, no alcohol, no animals and especially no soil or mud from outside. It is forbidden to move furniture, such as beds, storage furniture, various machines, refrigerators or other without my permission. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground if you are a smoker.  Pets: no pets allowed in the rooms and please pick up all excrement. SUMMARY Included in the price: sheets, tables, chairs, cutlery, games, sound system with mixing table, amplified speaker, use of cinema screen, festive lighting. Not included in the price: basic storage and return of clean kitchens   TABLES D'HÔTE MÉCHOUI AND WOOD-FIRED SHOW KITCHEN We specialize in long-term cooking of meat either on a spit (7 hours of cooking),  or on a cross (Argentinian method,  5 hours of cooking),  or in a wood oven in stainless steel pots (7-8 hours of cooking) MECHOUI OPTION (lamb, pig, game, etc.) For your reference: For 35-40 people: the preparation of a 20-22 kg lamb on a spit, with green salad and vegetable mix (potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, peppers, corn, mushrooms) cooked in one or more large paella dishes, will cost you about €700 (exact price on quote depending on the exact number of adults and children)  WOOD-FIRED PIZZA OPTION with generous toppings: €12.50/pizza (minimum 20 pizzas) CATERER AND CORKAGE FEE The choice of your caterer is free and is not subject to any financial conditions. We do not impose any corkage fees. VISITING THE PROPERTY It is of course very important to come and visit the place to make your event as successful as possible.
