We are beyond excited to have you enjoy this peaceful location on an acre of land. Enjoy kayaks during the summer. We recommend: Your own personal life vest for the perfect fit. Bring your bicycle to enjoy the scenic roads. Sit back and enjoy the song birds, watch for bald eagles, or enjoy the fire pit. You’re close to many tourist attractions in Saratoga, Lake George, or the ADK’s. We hope our amenities bring you fond memories for years to come!! Have a beautiful day, Gail and David. The space This is a 16’ wide manufactured private home with a large attached screened in porch with beautiful views of the Hudson River. Cross the the quiet dirt road to enjoy your personal private beach on the river. You’ll have the use of four kayaks. That is if, weather and river conditions is permitting. You need to follow all of NYS Waterway Regulations with kayaking. You are Kayaking at your own risk. It’s recommended to bring your personal life vest for the perfect fit when Kayaking. You’ll have your own private fire pit to relax by or play a game of Corn hole. You’ll have free parking for 3 vehicles. The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a ramp to your relaxing screened in porch to enjoy the sounds of nature, a small private porch off the back door in the backyard. The home can easily accommodate 6 Guest comfortably. Everything is located on one level. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a large walk in closet, the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and a private closet, the 3rd bedroom has one Queen size bed which has an exiting door to the screened in porch and a private closet, the living room does have a pullout Queen size couch. (If needed), 2nd bathroom is a tub/shower. The living room does have a TV with a DVD player so, bring your favorite movies. You also have a radio/cd player to listen to your favorite music. You’ll have an acre of land to truly relax and enjoy your vacation retreat. Bring your bicycles to peddle the 4 mile scenic views of the Hudson River and enjoy. Your host, Gail and Dave, do reside on the property next door if you need anything. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: - Do Not walk on the private dock next to your small beach area. - Do Not throw food/bread into the Hudson River for ducks, geese, or birds. - Kayaks are only available from May 15th to September 15th. The river conditions may prohibit the use of them during the spring, summer, or autumn. - Remember, to bring your personal life jackets for the perfect fit as they’re needed for kayaking. The hostess does have a couple of adults “Universal Type 2 USCG Approved Life Jackets,” the orange ones hanging in the screened in porch. I personally recommend water shoes when you are playing on the Hudson River shoreline because of the occasional mussel shells. - You’ll have one large wheelbarrow full of firewood for your stay. Guest access You’ll have the complete home to yourself. Other things to note Check yourself in with the keypad entry system after 12:00 pm. Checkout time is 12:00 pm. We do not allow any kind of pets. Please don’t drive in the backyard as the septic system is in that location. Please respect the noise curfew. Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please do not rearrange the interior furniture. If, it’s raining or it’s going to rain please close all windows. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms. Please do your dishes daily. Please take your inside trash out and place it in the black container by the ramp when it is full. Please do not leave food outside or on the screened porch area overnight. We do not want to attract skunks, raccoons, or mice. Please don’t throw food/bread into the Hudson River for the ducks, geese, or birds. Do Not walk on the Dock next to your beach area that is a private.
