Our guests have access to Main/lower floors bathrooms, kitchens, dinings, living rooms and work out areas which are shared. Guest must clean up kitchen/bathrooms IMMEDIATELY, after each use. Guest may pay for an additional guest. Close to public transport, the Uni of Chicago, Jackson Park Hospital, beach, Grocery store with hot and cold, food court, Domino's Pizza, Subway, Chase Bank, ATM bus Just 10-15 minutes using J-14 CTA express bus to down town. We offer a clean comfortable space. The space Our bungalow can hosts up to 5 guest in two private bedrooms the green and the yellow room the 6th and 7th guests using a queen couch bed in red room sleeping area in living room, 8th guest using a comfortable couch. Guest 9 may use the couch bed off the kitchen and dining room are separated by a curtain in the beige room. We are south of down town Chicago, 10 to 15 minutes from down town Chicago, 15 to 25 minutes by bus or train and 5 to 15 minutes away from the University of Chicago by car, or by bike. 10 minutes walk from one it the sand beach on Lake Michigan which is behind the South Shore Cultural Center, the Chicago bike path to down town, 2 nine hole golf courses at the South Shore Cultural Center and the Jackson Park Harbor. The CTA bus and Metra train are a block away. Guest may have a private area on main floor of home. Bed Sheets, towels and duvet covers are provided. Our home is a single dwelling Historic Chicago Bungalow built in 1918. Each of the three levels is about one thousand eight hundred square foot. We have 2 bedrooms with two sleeping areas, a private bathroom available for guests. There is a backyard quiet with a water fountain. Two rooms have queen/double beds one of which also has a day bed and two sleeping areas has two twin beds in a trundle day bed. We are a family of two sometimes three when mom come. Guest are responsible for keeping their bedroom area and other areas used clean. Free laundry is provided for cleaning bed linens and towels once per week for long-term guests. We also have a cat called Sassafrass and sometimes a dog. Guest access Guest will have access to the main floor appartment, which has a full kitchen, two sectioned off sleeping areas depending on number of guests, piano area, 2 dining areas, two bedrooms and a private shower/tub bathroom, also use of the back yard, and tree house sun deck. During your stay We will interact as per guest request. Our live-in house keeper Christine or I, will greet you. She will show you around when I am at work or out. Other things to note The entrance is on the side of the house. The front door faces 72nd Place. We enter from the rear entrance leading out to the garden.
