Sara's Backpackers Home is a family run homestay. Home is located in Baniyatar Road, Gongabu, Kathmandu in calm and friendly neighborhood , 30 minutes walking distance from city center or 20 min microbus. Home have everything from hot shower to good home cooked food and we also arrange tour and you can enjoy dinner and party with family. The space Dear Guest ! We are Sudan and Ajita welcome you to Nepal. We love meeting travelers so much we turned one floor in our family home into a home-stay. Come stay in a cozy bed, rest and rejuvenate before making your next move. We are conveniently located in baniyatar which is away from all the tourist chaos but close enough to take a 20 min microbús or 30 min walk (4.5km) to all the major attractions such as Thamel district and monkey temple. We offer authentic Nepali cuisine at our family dinner table or you can try any of the nearby restaurants. If you are unsure of what to do- we can always recommend something to fit your budget and even help you plan your next trek. Transportation to baniyatar might seem complicated, however it is quite easy. Arriving by plane? You can take a taxi to Gongabu chowk, baniyatar pool (8km~ Rs,1000. (Pool means 'bridge' in Nepali). Cross the bridge and follow the road 120m until you see sign 'Sara's Backpackers Hostel' where you will need to take a left.
