Mikana's B&B offers a homely, safe and warm stay. If you stay with me, you will be welcomed by myself and my family who promise to make you feel right at home. My home is situated in Mandela Park -e Khayelitsha Township and is a ten minute drive from the airport. It is not far from Spine Road and the Makhaza Shoprite. The space As my home is situated in the heart of the township, it is inevitable that you will experience township lifestyle, indulge in authentic African cuisine and encounter the ultimate South African hospitality. I am part of a greater host community club within Khayelitsha and we look out for each other. Guest access Guests are more than welcome to make use of the open planned kitchen, dining room and lounge. During your stay I am on call for anything my guests may need. Other things to note The township is naturally noisy but this speaks to its vibrancy and is part of what makes it so unique. There are also many negative stories about Khayelitsha but they are often exaggerated, get to know Us and you will see. The front yard is open but completely safe for the parking purposes.
