Beautiful open-concept contemporary cape cod. The private second floor guest quarters feature two bedrooms (with Dream Cloud hybrid mattresses) furnished with heirloom Victorian-era antiques; a new family room; and a private bathroom. Guests each breakfast off of antique plates with linen napkins. This is a true bed & breakfast experience! A two-night minimum is required on Virginia Tech football weekends and Commencement week! The private 2nd floor is dedicated to guests. A huge new family room includes a Smart TV, coffee bar, refrigerator, and microwave. There are also a table/chairs and comfy day bed. The first bedroom features a queen sized bed; the second bedroom features a double/full sized bed. There is also a private bathroom for guests only. A luggage rack is located in each closet. Breakfast is provided consisting of coffee/tea/juice, yogurt with fresh berries/granola, meat, and homemade bread. A glamorous She shed is located behind the house with a desk and chair for private computer space. The house is conveniently located off of US460 which is minutes away from VT. Many walking paths are all around with Tom's Creek directly across the street. A long driveway provides ample parking for multiple vehicles. I am happy to provide information about the town of Blacksburg and VT. There is a neighborhood playground less than a five minute walk from the house. Also walk and bike trails nearby. There is plenty of parking in the driveway. The owners' quarters is located on the first floor. One very friendly cat (Khloe) is on the main level and one 10 lb. rat/chi dog (Darla Beth) that sleeps with us! There is also an outside cat, Jax, who hates Khloe!
