Like many historic upstate homes, a wood burning stove keeps the cabin nice and warm on cold days. There are screens on the windows and ceiling fans that keep it cool on warmer days. There are portable AC units to help keep the cabin cool but do not expect them to cool as well as central AC or a well-insulated home. The cabin is "open air". There are doors for the bedrooms to close them off and make them private, but the walls do not go to the ceiling. You've been warned if you chose to bring that guy that snores along. :)
