Aerbark Grange Cottage - Hunter Valley Homestead

Charming Three Bedroom Cottage on a 30 acre Alpaca Farm in the Hunter Valley Region. Loads of natural light and gorgeous views from all rooms. A beautiful base to just relax in a rural setting, whilst being just a short drive to Hunter Valley Wineries, Restaurants, shops and local tourist points of interest. Previously the main residence of international award winning show jumper and international award winning photographer. Lovingly renovated and converted to be your ideal vacation home. The space Verandah on two sides offering a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of local wine overlooking the stunning landscape home to the Aerbark Alpacas, Donkeys, Chickens and Ducks. The cottage is a well equiped home with modern kitchen, two living areas, a dining room, lounge and three bedrooms. If you're up early you may be rewarded with the sight of a beautifully coloured sunrise, hot air balloons traversing the countryside, a cheeky kangaroo visiting your home, or a bunny hopping in paddocks along with our resident alpacas. The cottage has all you would want, including comfy beds, a comfy sofa, verandah chairs, Smart TV (stream Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), Apple TV, Foxtel cable, Wifi, BOSE speaker for your own music, a range of kitchen facilities (including 4 ring induction stove, oven, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher a blender for your smoothies and of course plates, cups, glasses and cutlery) and outdoor BBQ. Parking under cover is free on the property. Guest access You have exclusive access to the whole Aerbark Grange Cottage on the 30 acre homestead. You will have complete privacy in your cottage and you can enjoy views from your terrace for many kilometers without any neighbour in sight. You will be free to walk around the 30 acres to enjoy picnic spots or outdoor tables, with exception of the Alpaca and Donkey's fenced paddocks, the small areas immediately surrounding Studio building, containers, sheds and farm equipment. During daylight hours the owners may be seen maintaining the homestead or feeding the Alpacas and Donkeys. If you're interested you may be invited to participate in the feeding. Access to the property is easy, backed on to a suburban street and suitable for any car. A very short gravel driveway entrance from the street to the Cottage is also suitable for any car. This driveway is shared. During your stay the owner, property manager or a family member may be staying in a separate building on the land. It is fairly close to the Cottage but sectioned off for privacy with its own entry way and separate car port. Other things to note Unfortunately the property is not suitable for children so we do need to highlight our no child policy due to safety reasons. The automated pricing for the number of guests usually includes 2 or 3 adults. The maximum number of additional adults you may add to the Cottage booking is three or four as the cottage is designed for up to three couples. We do not allow sleeping on the sofa but if you would like more than three beds the Homestead also offers separate accomodation called Aerbark Alpaca Farm Studio. It has a double bed with en-suite. If you search and cannot see it listed as being available for your selected dates, it may be blocked but still available on request. Feel free to ask. Discounts are available for multiple nights. The discount is automated when you change the length of stay. PLEASE NOTE we generally always accept booking requests from guests that have a history of positive reviews from other hosts. However like many hosts we reject those that don’t. You’re new? Occasionally we make an exception for those that are new to Airbnb and have not made any prior bookings at all but only if an “enquiry” is made first. In other words please do not make a “reservation” request straight away otherwise we are likely decline automatically, just send a message (instead of a booking) first to discuss.
