This peaceful private apartment in our 1925 Bungalow home is a perfect getaway for a romantic couples retreat, friends weekend, beach vacation, or restful escape. Surrounded by woods & gardens, this is an oasis in an otherwise bustling beach town. This is a clothing optional home with nude art & photos. Not appropriate for minors. No pets, no exceptions. No refunds if you were unaware of things described in our listing. Please select the correct number of guests (extra fee over 2 guests.) The space Your apartment is completely separate from the rest of our home. Up the spiral staircase, you will find a comfortable separate space. There are 2 bedrooms for friends traveling together, a sitting room with TV and kitchenette (small refrigerator, microwave, and coffeepot), and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and the best view of the property from right in the shower. The beaded board walls and ceilings are accented by an eclectic mix of antiques, little treasures, nude art and photography (including some friends and previous guests), and funky re-purposed items. We are less than three miles from our beautiful area beaches, 2.5 miles from the Estate on the Halifax wedding venue, six miles south of famous Daytona Beach, and ten miles north of lively, historic New Smyrna Beach. If you prefer the ultimate natural vacation, two popular clothing optional beaches are about an hour away, and you can continue your clothing-free groove when you return here to your relaxing home away from home. (Apollo Beach 45 minutes, Playalinda 70 minutes.) We like clothing. It can be fun, creative, and protective. So we really don't walk around in the buff, especially when we have guests. But if you are a longtime nudist, or just wish to experience freedom from binding waistbands and torturous elastic, you can feel safe and confident here since much of our property is completely private. Why clothing-optional? The reasons are many. Some just don’t like tan lines. Others have sensory issues that make elastic, tags, and waistbands especially uncomfortable. So many simply love the feeling of breaking free from the day-to-day world of rigid rules and regulations, or the body image issues that are pushed upon us by media, religion, or societal tradition. If you are new to this idea, trust us, there is a huge community of people who enjoy nudism/naturism. If you wish to dip your toes in, this might be a great place to start. Guest access Your apartment is equipped with mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee, tea, basic dishes and kitchen items. Feel free to stroll the garden paths, have drinks on the sunny deck, swing on the old front porch, or soak in the hot tub day or night . We have many items to make your stay more fun and comfortable, such as coolers, games, portable fans/heaters, and beach towels. You are welcome to use our washer and dryer if staying several days. Other things to note Please be sure you have selected the correct number of guests. If this changes, please update your reservation. Due to the spiral staircase, clawfoot tub, hot tub and multi-level deck, this property is not suitable for people with mobility and/or balance difficulties. Please: Smoking outdoors only. No loud motorcycles. No pets, no exceptions. We will happily share plant cuttings if you wish to take some of our gardens home with you. If you are here visiting local friends, they are welcome to come visit with you here for the day or evening, NOT the wee hours of the morning. Small groups (maximum total 8 people) are welcome.
