The Billiard Room is a beautiful property set in the grounds of The Close, an 18th century house facing the duck pond, on the village green, in Biddestone. It is ideally placed to visit the World Heritage City of Bath, and to explore the historic villages and countryside of Wiltshire & the Cotswolds. Originally a blanket factory, and subsequently the village school, it has undergone sympathetic restoration to create a unique living space, with a four poster bed, living area and breakfast bar. The space The property provides a king size bed, with wardrobe and chest of drawers. In the living area there is a leather sofa in front of a log burning stove, set in a magnificent stone fireplace. A TV is provided. Guests can eat at an oak breakfast bar - cooking facilities include an electric hob & oven, kettle & toaster. There is a utility area with sink & fridge. There is also a shower room, and separate WC. Guest access The property is approached over the front lawn of The Close. Guests are welcome to enjoy sitting outside the property on the bench provided - perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or early evening drink! Other things to note Parking is provided for a guest car on the drive of The Close.
