EL CASOT - your quiet stay in the heart of nature

Welcome! El Casot is a cozy cottage not overlooked with a view of the surrounding forest. You will find rest and a mountain change of scenery. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, and families with 2 children. Note: accommodation not accessible to PRM (access with stairs, shower room and toilet not adapted, inadequate width of doors). The space Our 45 m2 chalet, cozy and perfectly maintained, is located in a family ski resort at an altitude of more than 1800 m in the middle of the fir forest! 2 steps from the forest trails in the heart of nature and springs. With a balcony/terrace to have coffee in the sun and take your nap in the great outdoors. Ski storage on the balcony/terrace with 1 child sled, snow shovels, side table for the balcony/terrace, 2 folding chairs and a deckchair for your nap. Living room with TV (TNT), Wi-Fi box, mini stereo with remote control. Possibility to connect an external hard drive (or USB key) to the TV. Kitchenette with coffee maker, toaster, raclette and fondue sets. 2 upstairs bedrooms with closet: 1 bed in 140 and 2 beds in 90. The 10-step staircase leading to the bedrooms is steep (ladder type). Basic cleaning products are available on site but not linens (provide sheets, pillowcases, towels, shower mats, dish towels and cloths). Optional linen rental available through a concierge. Rates: - sheet set for a 90 bed (fitted sheet, duvet cover, 1 bolster case, 1 pillowcase) = €8/set - kit for a 140/160/180 bed (fitted sheet, duvet cover, 1 bolster case, 2 pillowcases) = €14/kit - kit of towels and gloves (1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 2 gloves +1 shower mat in a single kit) = €6/kit - 1 set of kitchen towels and oven mitts (2 towels and 2 mitts) = €4/set Guest access I'll send you a map that will facilitate your arrival. Street parking at the foot of the cottage! El Casot is a family chalet that we occasionally occupy. Some locked cupboards therefore contain our belongings. The others are entirely at your disposal. The coffee maker is a permanent filter coffee maker (no need to bring filters). Other things to note In winter, you can enjoy tobogganing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on site. For downhill skiing, the nearby resorts are Formiguères 12 km away and Les Angles 15 km away. During the winter school holidays, check-in is only on Saturdays and stays are a minimum of 7 nights.
