The Green Room

The Green Room is bright and cheery with a large window and a queen bed, dresser, mirror, chairs & a closet for hanging your cloths & storage. Your room is private with a deadbolt lock. Laundry facilities and 2 bathrooms serve 6 guest bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The downstairs is shared by all guests & the landlord, that includes: A 1/2 bath, kitchen with all the amenities & cupboard space provided, living room, front porch/sun room, 2 decks and parking. The space Small town setting. 2 drinking establishments in walking distance with food & entertainment & a gas station/mini mart. The village park has a walking path, playscapes etc. We are 10 minutes from Fish Point Wildlife Preserve, state hunting areas and Saginaw Bay. There are many choices for bay access nearby and we have parking for boat trailers if needed. Sebewaing is 5 minutes away with a large marina and boat launch, restaurants and shopping. Caseville is 25 miles, Bay City is 20, Walmart in Caro just 14 miles. This is a 1911 2 story home with original hardwood floors and beautiful oak trim and doors. You can enjoy nice sitting areas inside and on the decks. 6 bedrooms, 2 full baths and laundry area available to guests on the 2nd floor, plus a 1/2 bath on the main floor. The large kitchen is available to guests along with the dining room, the living room with a TV, a sunporch, and breakfast nook. Outside there are 2 decks and a back yard with a fire pit and plenty of space for parking. Guest access Please use the front door upon arriving. Access details will be given after your stay is confirmed. You will be provided with a key to your room. The bedroom is on the 2nd floor and also the guest baths & laundry facilities. A 1/2 bath is on the main floor for your convenience. Guests have access to most of the rooms in the house: the living room with a TV, front porch/sunroom and the kitchen with all the essentials. Outside there are 2 decks, a large yard with a backyard firepit and plenty of room for parking. Please use the front porch for your entrance. During your stay If I am not available at the house you can call or text me anytime (number to be provided). This has been my home for nearly 30 years. For short stays or long term guests I try to make your stay pleasant and comfortable and I hope you enjoy my home as much as I do. Please be considerate of all people staying at my house. Please don't hesitate to contact me ANYTIME with questions or concerns or if you need help locating the local attractions. Other things to note Your Room is private & you will have a key but the rest of the house is shared including the bathrooms & the kitchen. Please be considerate and clean up after each use. Shampoos & soaps for the bathrooms are provided if you want to use those. If you have your own please label or remove from the bathroom. The kitchen has all the amenities for cooking. You are welcome to the spices and other things I may supply, but you need to provide your own food. If you are a long term renter a small refrigerator can be provided to keep your food separate. There is a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor that you are welcome to use for normal personal laundry. Please ask for help with large or very dirty items. DO NOT use the shared machines for extremely dirty or heavy laundry. Please supply your own laundry soap and label with your name. The bathroom is shared so please clean up after each use and take your towel to your room out of curtesy to others. Bathrooms are cleaned each week unless I am informed they need attention. Cleaning products are supplied.
