Home in Conway

If you are intrigued by interesting architecture, then this is the place for you. A rural country location yet a 15 -20 minute drive to North Conway. Take advantage of outdoor living, shopping and restaurants. The space The private bedroom is nestled off of our living room (to the right of the greenhouse) in a small hallway on the east side of our house. The room is bright and spacious with private access to the bathroom. Accommodates 2 people, and 3 in the right situation. The room offers one queen bed and one twin bed. For winter months there is a space heater and electric blankets for added comfort. Summer months the room is cooled and dehumidified with a portable air conditioner. Our home was built in 1980, and designed by an architect to be energy efficient. It is 100% south facing allowing in an abundance of sunlight, reducing any feelings of confined space. It is open concept with a central fireplace/wood stove. Wonderful comfort in the cold winter months. Shaded during the summer. Please consider that this is a country home. It is clean, but not sterile. We heat with wood, which does create dust. We have domestic animals that tend to shed and dust bunnies might be found....as much as I try to stay ahead of it. Our dog, Bo is friendly, well behaved and has a gentle demeanor. Our two cats are kept indoors, and also very friendly. If you are afraid of dogs (or cats), this is probably not the right fit. If you have a pet allergy, this is probably not the right fit. So if you make the decision to stay with us, you must take personal responsibility for your choice. The dander is already present throughout the house, regardless of keeping the bedroom door open or closed. Please DO NOT ask us to sequester our animals or alter our normal household habits. This puts us under unnecessary stress and worry. Thank you for your understanding. Guest access Guests have access to a full bathroom. Full use of kitchen, central living area, screen porch, patio, outside grill and propane fire pit. The bedroom has a TV with Roku. The living room does have full cable access. We serve coffee, tea, juice, and cold cereal, bread, butter, jam and pb for breakfast. Feel free to bring your own comfort foods. The kitchen is open to your use. Please park in front of the house. The other parking option is for our tree house guests. On property is 200+ acres. There is a 3 acre field with a swing set. In addition, we offer a chiminea under a post and beam structure. We offer 5 miles of hiking- and groomed snow shoeing trails complete with a map and trail description. During your stay We love to interact with our guests and will be accessible.
