Low-cost, cosy top rated Frome traditional house

Top-rated, comfortable good value Victorian house very near to the historic centre of Frome. This house is a quirky family home which we are in the process of upgrading. An open plan living area and well-equipped kitchen the place is suitable for a family or a couple wanting to stay for a few days. The house benefits from fast WiFi and ample free on- street parking. Frome is ideally located for Longleat, Stonehenge, Bath, Glastonbury and other sites in the South and Southwest of England. The space There is one main reception room with a television, sofas, and a family dining table. A well equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher is ideal for those who like to stay in and cook. Upstairs there are 2 good sized bedrooms. One has a double bed and one has a bunk bed with 2 beds. There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower. The house is a work in progress and is great for families and those that may want to bring a dog. The house and area has plenty of character in keeping with the traditions of the local area. The nightly price is usually a half to a third of the average in the local area. It is perfect for people who are working in the area who would like somewhere to stay, as well as for leisure weekends and weeks. Front door opens onto side road. *If you would like to book at a time that is not available on the calendar, please contact us and we can look to see if the dates can be unblocked.* The railway station is a 25 minute walk away with connections to Bath, Bristol, the South Coast and London. A direct bus to and from the historic city of Bath stops at the end of the road. There are direct coach service to London from Frome (Flixbus and National Express). Guest access Guests can access all areas of the property apart from the attic. Other things to note The home is a family home as well as a place to stay for guests. The décor etc is not perfect and it is not a show home and this is reflected in the reasonable price. You may be able to tell that we are slowly upgrading the house. This is not to say that it is a comfortable no-frills property, with a top rating. The cleaning is to a high standard. In spite of this, there may be a couple of dusty nooks and crannies around the house. We do provide a dishwasher tab or 2 available. Please bring more for a longer stay and some detergent for the washing machine. The property benefits from free on street parking. There may not be a space directly outside but there is usually a space within 100m of the house. **Please note that: pets regularly stay at the property therefore we are unable to guarantee that the space will be completely allergen free.**
