Lovely bright & airy double room in a beautifully period restored and modernised home. King-size farmhouse bed, antique hanging wardrobe and bedside storage with bathroom inc shower just off it. The room overlooks pretty gardens and is bright & sunny as south facing. The room has super fast WiFi & work-desk, HD streaming TV & movies. Fresh towels & bedding always provided. The house is located on peaceful up-scale tree-lined residential road with ample free on-street parking directly outside. The space The house has been tastefully renovated and furnished to very high standard with antique and modern touches - the house is bright and airy with sunny south-facing gardens. There is even a garden bar and comfy hammock for use in the warmer months! This is a professional and friendly child and pet-free household - a peaceful and relaxing space with a wide array of local amenities a stones throw away. Guest access Guest bedroom, bathroom, dining room gardens, patio & bar area During your stay Welcoming, friendly and always happy to help and offer any advice or assistance. Guests will probably only see me quite infrequently as it's only me that lives at my place and I am often not at home - however my mobile phone is on 24-hours a day if guests ever need to contact me. I can usually meet guests on arrival and upon departure - if im not at home - guests can just lock-up and post the keys back inside through the front door letter-box. Other things to note I only rent out one room via Airbnb so no other guests will ever be present during your stay. Please can guests remove footwear before going upstairs Guests are welcome to use the kitchen equipment - microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, crockery and cutlery but use of the stove and oven is limited to only very light cooking/heating up of food - so please no heavy frying/boiling or baking etc Please can guests avoid putting wet plates, crockery or hot pots/pans etc on the wooden worktops in the kitchen as this will damage the surfaces - there is a metal draining rack next to the sink for these. For security reasons only booked guests will be allowed on the premises
