This 750 sq ft ‘smart’ home is located one block from downtown Ely's shopping and dining establishments, within walking distance of walking trails & swimming beaches, close to the new (still in progress) paved bike trail between Ely and Tower, and just a few miles from the nearest BWCAW entry point. The home is furnished with fine hotel-quality linens, many amenities including central air and ‘smart’ technology. This adorable, cozy home is conveniently located just one block from downtown Ely. The main floor has one spacious bathroom, mud/laundry room, eat-in kitchen, office desk with two 27” computer monitors, and a comfortable living room with a sectional couch that includes queen sized sofa sleeper fitted with luxurious, hotel quality linens. Includes smart tv with streaming capability, wireless internet, central air conditioning, hardwood floors on main floor, washer/dryer, large deck with patio furniture and electric Weber grill, fenced-in yard, and 2 off-street parking spaces. Second floor has two small bedrooms- 1 with a full-sized bed equipped with a Sealy luxury mattress and the other includes a set of twin bunk beds. Please note the staircase to bedrooms is VERY steep and narrow. This ‘smart’ home is equipped with an outdoor Nest security camera, Nest thermostat, smart smoke/fire/Carbon Monoxide detectors, Sonos speakers, and an August smart lock deadbolt to allow for easy, secure, and keyless entry for those with smart phones who would like to use it. Guests have access to washer/dryer, linens for bathroom/kitchen/bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, vacuum, fenced in yard, off-street parking, smart tv, wireless internet, office desk & two 27” computer monitors (must bring your own cables), electric lawn mower & weed eater, and Sonos speaker system. While dogs are welcome in the home, they are not welcome on any furniture or beds. Excessive per hair left in the home and/or dirt or stains on furniture or beds will be subject to additional cleaning fees assessed. Everything you need is in walking distance, so leave the car at home and go explore the beautiful city. This home is equipped with a smart tv with Google ChromeCast, which allows you to mirror your own streaming services to the tv. There is an office space provided with a desk & two 27” computer monitors. You will need to bring your own connection cables to use the monitors. Ely does not offer curbside recycling service. If you would like to recycle during your stay, there is a recycling center on the East end of town. Take Harvey or Sheridan streets to Highway 1 and take a right. Take left onto Old Airport Road and the recycling center will be on the right.
