River Retreat #4

Semi primitive cabin, one queen bed, 4 twin beds & a futon. Will sleep 8 but can accommodate up to 10 persons if you bring your sleeping bags. Ceiling fans, electric lighting, bathroom with a shower. There is a park type grill and a small fire pit for cooking along with a picnic table. The wood is cut for you. You can build a fire, sit on the back porch and watch the Kentucky river flow by. There is wooden porch furniture for your use. 4-WHEEL OR ALL WHEEL drive ONLY! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST! The space You will need a four wheel drive or a good all wheel drive to access this cabin as it is very isolated. You will be very close to the river for fishing, there are canoes & kayaks for rent, life vests are provided. There are several ares for hiking and rock climbing, a zipline, and underground canoeing, kayaking in an abandoned rock quarry. You will also need to bring your own dishes and cooking utensils. There is NO television/wifi ALL pets must be in a crate when left unattended in the cabin! Other things to note There is no stove or cooking utensils. Cooking is on outdoor grill. We do not offer television or WIFI at this time and cell reception is spotty at best. This is a true getaway from electronics and stress.
