Forest Hill Bungalow

Our home is located in the historic Kenilworth neighborhood located minutes from downtown and Biltmore Village. The upstairs space available for rent is a two bedroom, one bath spacious apartment located in the upstairs portion of our 1917 bungalow. The space is a perfect size for two adults with or without children. Occupancy is limited to four adults. The apartment has a private separate entrance from the rest of the home. The upstairs space available for rent is a two bedroom, one bath spacious apartment located in the upstairs portion of our 1917 bungalow. The space is a perfect size for two adults with or without children. Occupancy is limited to four adults. We are family friendly and welcome LGBT guests. The apartment has a private separate entrance from the rest of the home. We strive to keep our apartment clean and clutter free. There is a full bathroom with shower and bath, two bedrooms with one queen and one full bed and a kitchen with a small dining area. Please note that the shower has a low ceiling and might not be a great fit for someone taller although a bath is always an option! We have also recently made some changes to the upstairs and the bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom. This might be inconvenient for some people, so please take this into consideration when booking! We do not have cable tv, but do have wireless internet and a flat screen tv with an apple tv equipped with netflix. A private drive is provided that can easily fit at least two vehicles. We were both born in North Carolina and have been in the Asheville area for over twelve years. We leave a list of some of our favorite hiking/sightseeing/eating spots in town but are very willing to make other recommendations on things to do in the area while you are here. Guests have full access to the upstairs apartment. A private driveway can easily accommodate two vehicles, but street parking is also available in the neighborhood. We love to meet guests on arrival to introduce ourselves and answer any questions if you are interested, but will also certainly respect your privacy if you would rather be left alone and will gladly leave a key. We live downstairs from the apartment so we are nearby, but prefer a call or a text if you have any questions or concerns and will be readily available. Kenilworth is a thriving urban neighborhood in Asheville, with homes constructed varying from small Arts and Crafts cottages to significant Spanish revival estates. It is within walking distance to Biltmore Village and the thriving downtown area. Kenilworth is centrally located between downtown, Biltmore Village and Tunnel Road. The apartment is within 2 miles of downtown and several great restaurants and coffee shops. The neighborhood is quite hilly and does not have many sidewalks, but is still very assessable to downtown and the biltmore village area by way of car, bike or foot. The city operated bus stops are less than a quarter of a mile away from the apartment. Towels and linens are provided along with basic kitchen supplies for cooking meals. Toilet paper and paper towels are also provided to guests. Please let us know if there is a special request you have prior to your visit and we will do our best to accommodate you!
