North Cascades Two Bedroom Apartment

Our daylight basement apartment is conveniently located for travelers along the Hwy. 20 on the Cascade Loop. Hiking, fishing, boating, and hunting are nearby. Marblemount, a mile away, has two seasonally (mid-April through Oct.) opened restaurants as well as limited groceries and camping supplies. You’ll love our comfortable 800 sf, 2-bedroom apartment as it was recently completed with brand new flooring, paint, and full kitchen and bathroom. Please ask about pets. The space Many of our visitors stay here during a hiking trip, or as part of a longer road trip. This is a great space for four people. The apartment is cozy in winter with a wood-burning stove, and the whole apartment stays cool even on the hottest summer days. In one bedroom there is a queen bed, in the second bedroom are two twins, and the living area sofa can be converted into a queen bed. There are plenty of pillows of different types to choose from. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer are available for your use. The kitchen is outfitted with a full refrigerator and stove and oven and most of the basic cooking equipment, appliances and dishes. Coffee and tea are provided, and we usually have some basic breakfast items. There is a small table with four stools for dining. There is no television, but you will have WiFi access, and can choose from a selection of books and games. There are also a few children's toys for toddler age. Guest access Parking is on the driveway just outside the entrance to the basement apartment. Entry to the apartment is separate from our house and is two steps down into the door from your parking area. You will have the full apartment - two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room / kitchen area - to yourself. You can also feel free to roam around the back yard and across the street to a shady resting area along the river. Other things to note Our neighbors enjoy raising chicken, ducks and turkeys. Please be aware that they can be a talkative bunch.
