Welcome to Voss! Tiny, cosy studio apartment, super-centrally situated near the medieval church in town. 2nd floor, block building, with lift. Shared entrance with the host. Private bathroom, entrance, wardrobe, kitchen corner, couch corner with TV-set and writing desk. Beds are upstairs on the loft, steep staircase. Private balcony. Located very close to the railway line. 300 m from the Railway Station and Gondola. Super for bicycling, hiking, skiing or car touring in beautiful surroundings. The space Stay right in heart of the centre of Voss, with everything in walking distance. Situated close to the medieval stone church, built in AD 1277, and the market square with its cosy coffee shops, restaurants, flower shops, boutiques and art galleries. View to the Mølstertunet medieval outdoor museum and the Hanguren mountain top with its super modern gondola from your window and balcony. Go for a trip with the new cable car, Voss Gondol, which leaves right from the train station to Hanguren Mountain top at 820 mas. Get information on activities at the Tourist Information Office or by the host. Green areas, trees, lawns and parks at the church. Beautiful walks are possible close to the town centre at the large Prestegardsmoen forest park with its huge pine trees close both to the river and the lake. Brand new indoor swimmingpool at Prestegardsmoen, a 5-7 min. walk. There you also will find football pitches, track-and field arena and tennis courts. Possibilities for private bicycle rental ( hybrid and road racers) by the host, get tips and advice for round trips along Lake Vangsvatnet and to some of our beautiful waterfalls nearby. Lots of aerial activities to look at ( and to participate!) like tandem skydiving and paragliding. Also very good possibilities for water sports such as rafting, kayaking and canoeing, either in the rivers here at Voss, or in the fjords. Excellent starting point for hiking in summer and skiing in wintertime. Alpine, cross country/ nordic skiing, randonnée, everything is possible from our starting point. Do the Norway in a Nutshell Tour, or go for some great and really challenging mountain hikes in summer time like the Trolltunga Rock. Voss is situated right in the middle between the SogneFjord and the Hardanger Fjord in Western Norway, with unspoiled nature and a breathtaking scenery. Other things to note The bed is on the second floor, on the loft / mezzanine, and the stairs are very steep and a little different than a «normal» stair (more like a ladder). The railway line between Bergen and Oslo passes really close to the apartment, which makes some train noise, also cargo trains at night. In the weekends, there might be some noise from young people in town partying and passing in the neighbour streets at night.
