Bryar House is a family home that is situated within easy reach of the M5 and a close and convenient place to stay if you are visiting local attractions such as Witley Court, West Midlands Safari Park, Shelsley Walsh hillclimb, Severn Valley Railway or attending a wedding at the nearby Elms Hotel or Curradine Barns. Our cosy room is equipped with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable in beautiful surroundings. We also have a twin room available for hire. Your hosts Sue and Bill and their two children would love to welcome you and we all hope your stay is comfortable Great Witley is a small village in the heart of Worcestershire. We are proud of our beautiful location, which is surrounded with stunning countryside that has some well marked walks and a whole host of lanes to cycle in. Also located in the village is the famous Witley Court, this has one of the finest examples of a Baroque church in England. We are also within a few miles of Shelsley Walsh Hill climb which hosts numerous car racing events throughout the year. The historic city of Worcester is about 12 miles away where you can explore the Cathedral and Camaraderie with all its civil war history, the beautiful river bank and many shops and restaurants. Worcester also has a horse racing track and is home to the county Cricket Club. The Worcester Warriors rugby club has its ground on the edge of the city and is easily accessible from Great Witley. Malvern and its beautiful hills are within half an hour drive. Stourport-on-Severn is a 5 mile drive and just beyond is the picturesque Georgian town of Bewdley nestled on the banks of the river Severn. During your stay Bryar House is our family home so we will always be around to help where ever we can. We have provided a kettle, toaster and microwave in the lounge/breakfast room so that guests can help themselves to tea and coffee when ever they wish and make light meals. We offer a light breakfast as standard but if you wish for anything more substantial for a small charge this can be arranged. Abberley Hills Vinyard is situated at the opposite end of Stourport Road to ourselves and is only about a 5min walk. They have just started promoting wine tours. They are lovely friendly people and have great wine which I can highly recommend. Please see the poster for how to book.
