*A bit of rustic charm at CowsGrove Farm* Do you want to stay nestled in the foothills of the Watagan Mountains, with views over rolling farmland, and the opportunity to see some furry farm-yard friends? The second house on CowsGrove farm has been set up for guests, so we can share our little patch of paradise with you. It is still a work in progress, but what the old house lacks in appearance it makes up for with location! The space Please note: this is a strictly NO SMOKING property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, no exceptions. CowsGrove Farm is located 10minutes from the bustling town of Cessnock - the gateway to the Hunter Valley Vineyards, so it's the perfect place to stay for your wine touring weekends or Hunter Valley concerts. We're located at the foothills of the Watagan Mountains - home to spectacular lookouts, neat picnic spots, bushwalks a-plenty and kilometres of 4WD tracks to explore! CowsGrove Farm is also home to a curious herd of cattle, a motley bunch of chooks, and an excitable cattle dog. Please be aware that farm type noises, smells and animal poop WILL be encountered on your stay! Guest access As this is a working farm, guests will be required to stay within the marked guest boundaries for safety and biosecurity reasons. Guests are not allowed in any paddocks with animals. There is a car port attached to the back of the house for guests to park in, which also includes the main entrance door to the house. Please also note that as this is a working farm, for midweek and one-night stays, opportunities to interact with the animals will be limited. Other things to note Our booking calendar is set to only allow bookings up to 3 months in advance. If you were wanting to book a date more than 3 months away, send us a message and we will unlock those dates for you if possible.
