The space We are a family of 4, Percy, Raffaella, Flavio and Williams, of which only the last one has 4 legs! We live in the Upper Vara Valley above the town of Varese Ligure (alt. 400 m), the soul of organic farming and the first village in Europe with environmental certification. If you decide to visit us, remember that Liguria is not Holland: the farmhouse can be reached by a paved but winding and uphill road. Then get ready to enter a magical place. The apartment overlooks a patio with a small but lovely swimming pool, and from the terraces you can admire a wonderful view of the village and the surrounding valleys, with sunsets that will not be easy to forget. The apartment is equipped with a barbecue and a space reserved for meals and relaxation. For those who love the mountains, it is possible to hike in the Alta Via Ligure, mountain bike, and go horseback riding. For everyone else, just over half an hour away on an easy road are the Cinque Terre, with their sea and natural parks. In summer, the village offers a renowned opera season in addition to local festivals. Varese Ligure was also the first Italian municipality to obtain environmental certifications (ISO 14001 and EMAS) and in 2004 it was awarded by the European Union as the best rural community. The whole area is worth seeing. The place and what we offer is still suitable for those who want to give themselves a relaxing holiday alone, as a couple or as a family. The farm is in the process of being restarted, while donkeys have been present for a long time, to the delight of children.
