The space The Shoemakers Cottage is a traditional stone cottage set in the heart of the village of Ballydehob. It was built over 100 hundred years ago as the village shoemakers workshop and home and while it has been extended and developed in more recent years it still maintains its old world character and charm thanks to careful conservation and thoughtful decoration. Staying in the Shoemakers Cottage allows one to forget the hassles of everyday life and fully immerse themselves in the peace and tranquillity of West Cork. The accommodation is spacious sleeping up to 7 people (3 doubles and 1 single) and all modern conveniences are included. It has a large real fire in the living room providing winter cosiness while at the back of the cottage is a beautifully secluded garden which provides very private and peaceful entertaining area in summer. The cottage is fully heated through-out with central heating. Guest access You will have the entire cottage to yourself to enjoy the space privately. This includes a large back garden and the shoemakers workshop. Other things to note All bedlinen and towels are included at no additional fee. WI-FI can be provided, if requested, please request.
