The Hidden Tower - Ventoux Provence

Unique appartment partly situated in a hidden medieval tower at a fantastic (cycling) location close to the Mount Ventoux. Private entrance, balcony with little terrace, kitchen/dining room in the tower. A passageway leads to a living room with two comfortable chairs that can be made into beds easily. Master bedroom with boxsping bed, french balcony and luxery bathroom with shower. Possibilty to safely store bicycles. Lake with beach and woods at walking distance. Bakery and supermarket close. The space The apartment is situated in our large, very French house at the edge of the centre of Mormoiron. We are living there since 2016 with our two youngest children (high-school age) and we work and go to school in the area. The apartment, which is completely private and situated at the first and second level of the house has its own private entrance with balcony/terrace. The apartment is ideal for 2 - 4 persons, a small family or friends. There is a master bedroom, a living/sleeping room and a kitchen/dining room. The master bedroom has a high quality double bed. The living/sleeping room has two comfortable chairs that can be made into very comfy beds in a blink. Note that the entry to the bathroom is situated in the master bedroom. You have acces to a room downstairs where you can safely store your bikes if you bring or rent them. Guest access Our house was build against the city wall and around a medieval tower in the small but lovely village of Mormoiron. Mormoiron is very close to the Mount Ventoux (Bedoin at 7 km) but it is not crowded with tourists so you can enjoy the calm and atmosphere of a real Provencal village. We do not have a swimming pool but there is a lake which is perfect for swimming, with a beach, woods and picknick area at walking distance. Also, the village centre is a less than 5-minutes walk so you can have a morning stroll in the sun (300 days of sun per year in this area) and get your fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast. Other things to note Our area is a real cycling Mecca but you can enjoy lots of other sports here also (downhill mountain biking, trail running, walking, nordic walking, climbing, swimming etcetera). Of course you can also just come, relax and breath in the atmosphere of the Provence. Good quality restaurants and wine tasting can be found everywhere.
