Beach Cottage, Carnivan, Fethard on Sea, Wexford

A stones throw to two beautiful white sandy beaches, Carnivan and Baginbun. Our self catering 3brm cottage (sleeps 6) is on the Coast Road, Fethard on Sea. Two miles from the Fethard village. Cottage has a timber deck with picnic bench and great countryside views. Suitable for families with young children as once the gate is closed the garden is fully enclosed. The cottage is well insulated with woodburning stove and bright with dual aspect windows. Hi speed fibre broadband. The space Tastefully renovated bungalow with 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed and 1 with single bunk beds. The cottage has combined kitchen, dining and lounge room with entertaining deck and picnic bench off the dining room. There is one bathroom with electric shower, wc and wash hand basin. The kitchen has a gas hob with extractor, electric oven and 10 place setting dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker. Well stocked kitchen with plates, glasses, cookware, utensils. The dining room table seats 6 and is ideal for working from home and we have unlimited free fibre broadband with speeds over 300mbps. There is a washing machine and outside washing line. We have a TV with saorview and free to air satellite (over 60 channels). The house is very well insulated and has a wood burning stove plus oil heating. Price includes electricity and oil heating. Guest access The house is set on its own site with lawn front and back, you have total use of the house during your stay. There is a lovely timber deck off the kitchen with picnic bench with great rolling view of the countryside and spectacular sunsets. Fethard on Sea is gateway to the unspoilt and historic Hook Peninsula, Co. Wexford with its many beaches, castle, Europe's oldest lighthouse (Hook Lighthouse) at the mouth to the Waterford Harbour. You will need a car to explore the local amenities. You can walk to two beaches Carnivan and Baginbun from the house. Other things to note We provide bed linen, bath towels, tea towels, bathmat - please bring your own beach towels. If you are travelling with an infant we have a travel cot, highchair and baby bath available but please let us know before checkin if these are required. We have wireless Wi-Fi 5g over 400mbps unlimited fair usage free of charge. PLEASE NOTE: You need a car to get to house and to get around. Very limited public transport is available and unfortunately we are not able to provide a taxi service.
