Southside at Vivonne

Located at beautiful Vivonne Bay on the south coast, close to many of KI's attractions, with a nearby local take away shop. Situated across the road from the Harriet River, with a 5 minute walk to the Vivonne Bay beach. Nearby attractions include: Hanson Bay, Little Sahara, Kangaroo Island, Outdoor Action Adventure, Raptor Domain, Seal Bay, Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, Flinders Chase National Park, KI Wilderness trail, Kelly Hill Caves. Penneshaw - 1 hour Kingscote - 45min Parndana - 30min The space The whole house is available to guests. The home consists of 3 bedrooms (Queen, double and 2 sets of bunks), 1 bathroom, laundry and open planned kitchen, dining and lounge. The sheltered large deck looks towards the Harriet river with a bbq, great for outdoor dinners on warm nights. The wood fire is perfect for cosy winter nights, with reverse cycle air conditioning available for summer cooling/ winter heating if you prefer. Other things to note Mobile phone reception is not reliable in all areas on Kangaroo Island. Optus, Telstra and Vodaphone work in main townships. Optus will work at our property, with some occasional patchy Telstra signal. We also have wifi for online communication or iPhone messaging. There is a phone box located at the local general store. You will need your own car to travel on KI as there is no public transport. Our property runs solely on rain water.
