The B&B is on the 2nd floor, has private entrance & parking, 3 bedrooms all en-suite; air conditioning; toiletries; hairdryer (1 Double; 1 King & 1 Twin), a fully equipped ** kitchen with dining area Rooms have been fitted with new, modern furniture; the large king bedded (rear) has fantastic views over to the sea, the front double looks out to the Majella Mountains Sit and enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside & mountains, with a glass of local vino, read a book, relax The space The peaceful Abruzzo countryside, known as ‘the green lungs of Europe’ and land of 1000 castles. With its choice of 12 blue flag, sand or pebble beaches, at Casalbordino (30 min); Vasto (45 min) and Fossacesia Marina (35 min) are in easy reach There are 18 ski resorts in the Abruzzo Region, with Passo Lanciano (1.5hr) found in the beautiful Majella Mountains (1hr) in the National Park (60km – 11km of slopes; 3 lifts; elevation >1650 Mt) The National Park is the largest in Europe taking up 1/3 of the Abruzzo Region. Covering many historical and interesting villages. With the central Apennine Mountain range visible in the distance Abruzzo is a favourite holiday location for Italians, they call it the ‘Real Italy’ due to its unspoilt and unpretentious towns and beaches, for the array of dramatic scenery; mountains; beaches; history and culture, but not forgetting all the local fresh food and wine, something for all to enjoy Guest access We are motorbike friendly (our garage CAN be on available upon request: parking / repairs) Access to accommodation is via an external staircase Wi-Fi on site B&B Guests have use of the kitchen/fridge for hot / cold drinks ** The whole of the accommodation (2nd floor) can be booked as a self-catering apartment for you and your family and/or friends, sleeping up to 6 adults During your stay We will provide breakfast in a morning, then leave you to your day, but, we are available to help with questions when needed - where/what is? etc. We provide a small information booklet in each of the rooms, with local restaurants; cantina's (Winery); things to do and places to visit Other things to note The whole house has been fully renovated by a local team, this is now our home, the small front gardens with bushes and ground cover (we are not the best of gardener’s) The side and rear areas are there for you to sit and relax, or lounge in the sun, with views of the distant Majella Mountains in one direction, or the Adriatic Sea in the opposite direction, in a peaceful location We are in the midst of having plans passed for a small (but well proportioned) outdoor / summer kitchen, for entertaining and al-fresco dining
