The space IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE YOU RESERVE: 1) This is a 4 bedroom house - all are AirBnB rentals - if this room isn't available for the dates you want, one of the other three might be. Since everyone's traveling, mostly the place is empty all day but if everyone is up to shower at the exact same time, you may have to use the downstairs bathroom vs upstairs. I mandate that everyone who stays has to go through AirBnB Government ID verification first for added security (I have a LOT of security, as you'll see in check-in instructions - again, it's the city). 2) This is a GREAT LOCATION (you've probably seen this in the reviews), but it's THE CITY - there will be traffic noise, helicopter noise, pedestrians walking down the street noise, cat's...having a happy time occasionally noise - if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. Also because this is the city, security cameras used outside as well. Knowing these things, let's move on! I'm a new-ish Host, so I'm starting with a low rate for the lucky first guests! The room in the listing has just been painted and is ready for occupancy, with the rest of the house is being upgraded, room-by-room. It's a nice place that was a originally a 1920s farmhouse. I keep the place clean, with maid service weekly and/or (for a specific room) when a guest departs. I live here, but travel (when I'm not I can work locally/from home). I'm more of a "stay out of your way" kind of host - I can give you advice on decent gyms, restaurants, bars etc. in the area, but I won't have bandwith to show you the city, etc. Other than that, the place and I are pretty chill! Lastly, this is a 2-story house, and the space is one of the bedrooms (upstairs) in the house. There are 2 bathrooms, one for guests (again, upstairs, adjacent to the bedrooms) and one for me (downstairs) - you can absolutely use both, but the guest one (in listing photo) is probably your best/first stop. Guest access About 80% of the place is free range: -(your) bedroom -bathrooms -kitchen -living/dining room Only areas I'd ask you to stay clear of are: -other guests' bedroom -my bedroom -my office/study (ok to pass through it, though!) MAIL & PACKAGES Unfortunately, we can't accept ANY mail or package deliveries at the property. We had an incident in which guests used proof of mail service to claim they were long-term tenants, and it took some work to clarify the situation. The City of Los Angeles uses mail as evidence that a tenant permanently resides at a location.
