detached cottage over looking sea
Description
The house stands on its own in a rural setting and is close to the ferry for the Island of Kerrera. The view from the house is over looking the Sound of Kerrera with yachts, fishing boats and ferries passing by. It's two miles to Oban which has a large choice of places to eat. There is virtually no public transport to the house. Taxis are available from the railway station area in the town. Visitors are asked to arrive after 17.00 hours and on the morning of departure to leave by 10.00. The space The attic room measures four and a half by three and a half metres (approx) so is fairly roomy, with sloping ceilings and views over the sea. The shared bathroom is on the ground floor. Guest access There is parking on the grassy verge near the house. There are twenty steps up to the front door. Guests can use the front decking which, in summer, has table and chairs. During your stay I will be available to give help and information on, for example, trips out to the islands (Kerrera, Mull, Iona, Lismore, Tiree, Coll, and Colonsay) from Oban. Other things to note A small dog also lives in the house. She does not have access to the bedroom and bathroom as long as the doors are kept shut by guests, but she does have access to the rest of the rooms.
