'Casa Majella'. Country House, National Park

Cosy original country house w/ porch, terrace, lawn and olive grove barely 5 mins away from Serramonacesca and San Liberatore a Majella. From here, you can go visit the beautiful surroundings, take a walk on the 'tratturo' (historical sheep track) right alongside our lawn, or go trekking/hiking/skiing/mtbiking/climbing in the Majella National Park or else get in 30 mins to the sunny adriatic shore...or you can also just wander through the country The space 'Casa Majella' is an original italian country house. Back in the days, it was my mother's family of origin house...in 2014, my husband Guglielmo from Rome came to visit the place and fell in love with it so that we decided to renovate it, starting a new family story. The house has 2 double bedrooms: 'La Presentosa', with adjoined terrace for relaxing open-air full-view breakfasts and 'Cuore d'Abruzzo', with a wonderful view right on Serramonacesca and San Liberatore a Majella. There also are two full bathrooms with shower, a quiet studio with desk and a sofa, a living room with an open fireplace and beautiful authentic white stone walls, a eat-in kitchen with fridge+owen and adjoined porch. Right out of the house, you'll find a green relaxing lawn and olive groves and fields you can wander about...in case you do, please wear proper shoes, for the olive groves stretch on characteristic steep slopes, which make the local landscape look so vibrant and powerful.
