Warm Sunny Room, Handy, Longer Stays.

Sunny, tidy, warm spacious house, plenty of sun, pleasant views, 2 guy housemates, early 40's. (I'm away at the moment) Open to longer stays ( Can open calendar if needed) We listen to a fair bit of music, jazz, soul, neo funk, post rock, hip hop, experimental... Relaxed, maybe a little "alternative". (So 90's right?) Plenty café's, restaurants, a good little bar down the road that hosts live music. The room is tidy, & warm. has a garden out front, gets the afternoon sun. Unlimited wifi. ; ) The space The room is light and airy, clean and tidy, comfortable, firm-ish, innerspring bed with a woollen mattress topper, cotton sheets, and duvets and blankets, extra on request... there is a wardrobe space, power sockets for your electrical stuff, a desk and chair, endless wifi, and a bedside tables and lamps. Great for a couple. (extra $10 per night)... There is a desk, B&W laser printer, a scanner (colour printer scanner, but I only use the scanner, ink needs replacing), and a screen with mini HD cable. Some of my gear is still in the room but it's tidied away and there is space for your stuff, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and desk draw. Labelled "air bnb". Hot water is gas so endless. Minutes walk to central Newtown, great restaurants and cafes, a good bar, (Moon Bar) a library, a zoo... We have a good modern kitchen, a gas stove and electric oven, a great barbecue, backyard access to a community park, happy to hang when we can, or leave you to enjoy your space and privacy. It is a functional house with resident tenants, but it's not a motel! The towels might not be brand new but they will be clean ! We are hoping to have longer staying guests if possible. The guys like to socialise and listen to music at times when they're home, but you have one of the quietest rooms in the house if you want to get away to your own space... Your room is is very quiet, but if noise is troubling you please just let us know. We are friendly, sociable and worldly people. If you are really uptight, super fussy about your environment, or not prepared to accept other people's ways of living then it might be best to choose another BnB. Also - I am well aware that we offer a room at a price that is on par or cheaper than a hostel bed, which is notoriously noisy, you have to share a bunk room with other people, and may even have things stolen. (As I have in the past). We are very much cheaper than a hotel room. We do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, but we would appreciate it if people's expectations were in line with what they are paying... We are musicians and "420" friendly, if this is a problem for you, please don't choose this airbnb! Other than that it's a nice warm comfy room in a great part of Wellington city, with some friendly, open minded people. The great majority of our guests really enjoy their time here... We keep the place clean and tidy. Totes cool with queer / gender diverse etc, no dramas, not an issue. Please check the photos for a map of the house and where everything is... Guest access You have a private bedroom and the run of the house, which is shared with the residing tenants, Will and Sage... I'm in the south island at the moment, (hence the room is available) my name is Quinn.. ; ) During your stay Happy to leave you to it or hang out as you prefer and time allows, can show you around the city if you like, if we can't be home when you arrive we will leave a key out for you and you can let yourself in... Other things to note 10 minutes drive from the airport ....
