The space The cottage is a brilliant base for exploring the beaches of the Llyn peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia. It is at the end of a private lane, making it very secluded and also safe for children to play. It is comfortable, well-equipped and full of character. There are amazing views from every window and also from the beautiful gardens. Lots of extra details inside like high speed fibre broadband, a log burner, piano, king size bed, books, workspace, games and DVDs make it a real home-from-home. There's even a bluetooth speaker built into the bathroom mirror! And of course there's the spa hot tub which is positioned to make the most of the beautiful views. It's also a great place for dogs with a large, secure, lawned front garden. There are picnic tables and benches in both the front and back gardens to allow you to take advantage of the views and the sun at different times of the day. For families there is a great playground just a short walk away, next to the village pub. And there are just so many beautiful places to explore in the surrounding area including Caernarfon, Criccieth and Abersoch. But you will have to tear yourself away from the views at the cottage first! Please note, between May half-term and the start of September, stays can only begin and end on a Friday - thanks. Guest access There is a large entrance porch which is very useful for walking boots and for drying off your dog! The spa hot tub is in a secluded corner of the front garden looking out towards the view. Inside the characterful lounge has a log burner, piano, satellite TV, bluetooth CD player with digital radio and a wide selection of DVDs, games and books. The large kitchen/diner has underfloor heating and is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, large fridge-freezer and washing/drying machine. It has floor to ceiling windows looking out to the views on two sides with large, sliding doors opening onto the garden. The bathroom (also with underfloor heating) is downstairs and has a walk-in shower as well as a Bluetooth speaker built into the mirror. There is a sunroom with sofa-bed and desk next to the downstairs bathroom with bifold doors onto the terrace, and looking out to sea. Upstairs there is a king size bedroom with far-reaching views and a bunk-bed room. There is private parking outside the cottage for up to three cars. Outside there is a choice of outdoor dining areas in both the landscaped back garden, and the large, lawned garden at the front which is secure for dogs. Children will love the trampoline and secluded open space. Both the local shop and pub are within easy walking distance with a fantastic playground behind the pub. Please note the stairs in the cottage are fairly steep and if you have mobility issues you may find them tricky. Please let us know if you would prefer to use the downstairs double sofabed instead of the upstairs bedroom. There is one step up from the porch to the hallway. Other things to note Use of the Spa Hot Tub is included in bookings of one week or more. There is a £65 charge to use it for short breaks. We offer bed linen and towels as part of your holiday. We provide one basket of logs to get you started. You can buy more at the village shop or the local garages. Please note we can accept up to two dogs. Being an old cottage the stairs to the first floor are fairly steep and people with more limited mobility might find them tricky. Please let us know if you would prefer to use the downstairs double sofabed (in the snug separate from the lounge) instead of the upstairs bedroom. If you would like to use the sofabed as well as both upstairs bedrooms there will be an extra £25 charge.
