Nestled 12kms from the main city on the Leh-Manali highway,in a village called Shey. Our six boutique rooms have been recently refurbished to incorporate all modern amenities to an authentic Ladakhi home. 80% of the rooms offer a panoramic view of the picturesque landscape, and there is also a kitchen garden within the premises where you can pluck the vegetables, ' for a farm to table experience '. Our hospitality to the guests is not merely a business, it is our way of life. Guest access Walk around the 1.2 acres of the property. Take a nature walk around the village or explore the riverside or walk little further to the Shey Palace, which was the Original Palace to the King of Ladakh. Feel free to enjoy a good read from my father's collection. During your stay My father Mr. Dechen Chamgha, a retired Pastor, is a wildlife photographer, trekking enthusiast and a documentary filmmaker. He is very well-versed with the topography of this region. He is mostly seen interacting with the guests, sharing interesting insights and history of Ladakh and at the same time learning new things from his guests. Other things to note > No Satellite / Cable TVs in the rooms. > Evening Tea/Coffee complimentary on request. > Lunch & Dinner can be served on prior notification, at a nominal cost. > Not accessible to the private rooms on the ground floor.
