Casa do Faroleiro - In the heart of Carvoeiro

A Tipical Algarvian House, recently rebuilt and refurnished, located in the main square of Carvoeiro, just a few steps away from the beach and all the facilities needed to a calm and stress-free vacations! The space Sunny and just a few meters from the beach of Carvoeiro, is a newly restored home of a former lighthouse keeper (in portuguese, "faroleiro") of Alfanzina Lighthouse. The once fishing village, Carvoeiro has one of the most charming and picturesque landscapes in Algarve, where the surrounding high cliffs open into a coliseum-like beach. Located in the main square of Praia do Carvoeiro, "Casa do Faroleiro" is in the 1st floor of new refurnished and rebuilt early XXth century building. Walls in white, with ocean blue framed windows, its red doors lead the way to a comfortable and cozy stay, less than 100 meters from the beach (literally!!!). It preserves its unique and original features, with a traditional "algarvio" character, with a more neat, clean and welcoming personality. In the center of Carvoeiro, a short walk distance to supermarkets and all the essential facilities, Casa do Faroleiro can provide you a car-free and a really restful vacation! Lovely furnished, bright and comfortable, so that you can feel at home! A front balcony looks right over the main square, the perfect place to welcome the morning sun with a peaceful breakfast or catch up with your reading when returning from the beach, or just appreciate the people movements on the street beneath. Guest access Free wireless wi-fi is provided. You have full access to all the modern kitchen facilities needed during your stay, with a dinning room using the original restored furniture. Clean bathroom towels and bed linen will be provided. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds, and 1 with twin beds, 2 living rooms where you can relax (with tv and a couch than can be transformed into a bed, for an extra guest, if needed), and 2 bathrooms with shower. At the back of the house, outside, you can find a small laundry room, with a washing machine, a hanger to dry your clothes and an iron for your personal use. In the backyard, you can privately sunbath in a balcony that was made on the roof of an ancient cistern (used in the old days to collect the rain water, during the winter). You can still find the old collectors beneath the edge of the house roof! A traditional barbecue, also over the cistern, might encourage you to cook a nice fresh fish (that you can find on the local market), to the delight of your friends or family!!
