Jewell's Cowboy House

This house is in the center of Stonewall and near the LBJ Ranch Parks. The 290 Wineries are just minutes from the house. There is a great variety of quality restaurants in Fredericksburg, just 15 minutes away. Weinheimer & Son Store in Stonewall can provide fresh meats, produce, and any groceries you might need. You will be in the middle of the wine country. The space This house honors the fine western traditions of the American cowboy. Paintings, photos and artifacts capture the spirit of the West in the 21st century. The original owner was a professional horse trainer. the house is located on 10 acres where 2 Hereford heifers rome. Guest access You have the whole house. You can bbq and eat in back yard. Other things to note My husband and I lived on the LBJ Ranch, and we both worked for President and Mrs. Johnson. Upon President Johnson’s death we both started to work for the National Park Service on the LBJ Ranch. I would be happy to provide a guided tour of some parts of the ranch on days that I am available. I am so excited that you have chosen the Cowboy House for this special occasion. While I can't provide a full breakfast, I will have coffee, tea, fruit and rolls available. There is a big screen TV in the living room and in the large bedroom. Two bicycles for adults are available for use. The back patio has tables with shade canopies. There is a swing on the front porch.
