The space A beautifully renovated barn high in the hills on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The house is surrounded by forest, lakes and moorland and is the perfect getaway. This recent barn conversion combines the modern and antique with real style and elegance. The inclusion of a welcoming log fire combined with it’s quiet remote location make this the perfect destination for couples wanting to get away from it all. The open plan living area has floor to ceiling bifold doors that run along the length of the room, flooding it with light. The dark blue kitchen with its granite tops is the perfect space to cook up a storm and the kitchen is really well equipped. All the appliances are new and include a generous fridge freezer and dishwasher. A drop leaf table gives you space to linger over dinner or breakfast, or you can move to the sitting area and curl up in front of the log burner on the large corner sofa and watch a DVD from the house library on the 43" screen. If you don't feel like a film there are cards, board games and jigsaws to while away a rainy evening. The fire and the underfloor heating make this spacious room toasty warm in those winter months. The bedroom has a glamorous romantic feel to it with a dramatic velvet headboard, and heaps of feather and down pillows with Egyptian cotton sheets. The ensuite bathroom has a bath for relaxing in after a long day with a really good shower with two shower heads overhead. The basin is generous with space for two and storage below. There is also a hall for coats, boots and the dog, and a small utility Room with a washing machine and microwave. The barn has plenty of off street parking and a large gravelled and private patio area with outside seating, lighting and BBQ. There is a village shop just 3 miles away. The house is within easy access of some great days out in North Wales: Try out the new Forest rollercoaster at Betws Y Coed, fly down the world's longest zip wire at Zip World, experience Surf Snowdonia, or visit Conwy Castle, Bodnant Gardens, Caernarvon Castle, Bala Lake, Portmeirion, Gwydir Castle, Llangollen, white water rafting at Bala or head to Betws y Coed and of course, Snowdonia, to name just a few of the nearby attractions.... Guest access You have complete access to your own garden and parking, with double gates that you can close if you have a dog! There is a lovely terrace outside the cottage with a table and chairs for soaking up the sun! Other things to note Please note that the property is NOT suitable for infants and children. There is local village shop 3 miles away and supermarkets in Bala, Llangollen, Denbigh and Ruthin. You might want to stock up before you get here as you may not want to leave!
