You will love walking to the beach on Crystal Lake and the cute shops and restaurants of downtown Beulah, including 5 Shores Brewery. Short drive to Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Mountain, and many popular up north destinations makes this the perfect spot for your Northern Michigan vacation! Friday-Friday rental period in summer only. The space Recently updated with new appliances, cabinets, flooring, and decor. 3-bedroom home with a fully stocked kitchen, 2 refrigerators, 8 seat dining room table, spacious living room with plenty of lounge space, 1.5 bathrooms, and washer/dryer. During the summer months, you can also enjoy the private outdoor shower and back patio, solo stove firepit, picnic table, and gas grill. Kitchen and living spaces, along with both bathrooms, are on the main floor while all three bedrooms are upstairs. The main floor has additional sleeping space with a daybed and trundle in the front entry and has a room divider curtain for privacy at night. High speed internet and plenty of desk space allows for working remotely if you wish. There is also a new on-demand water heater to ensure that you won’t run out of hot water during your stay. You are welcome to use the 4 bikes stored in the garage to cruise around town or on the Betsie Valley Trail (which features beautiful scenery along Crystal Lake and can take you all the way to Elberta, Frankfort or Crystal Mountain). Please bring your own bikes or rent them from one of the many bike shops in the area if you plan to do any long distances or explore other trails away from the cottage. Other amenities: Toys and books for young children, a variety of board games, highchair, pack-n-play, baby gate, corn hole for outside fun, Smeg fridge and coffee grinder, Moccamaster coffee brewer, hair dryers in both bathrooms, Brooklinen sheets on king and queen beds, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, cooler, patio furniture, and local guidebook and recommendations. We also have two push cars for young children to ride in while walking around town. Quick walking distance to everything in town and the gorgeous public beach on Crystal Lake, which includes a playground, pickleball and tennis courts, a picnic area, restrooms, fishing dock, boat launch, and day dock. The swimming at this beach is perfect for young children. It is shallow and has very nice sand to play in. If you are traveling with kids, you will love that Beulah is home to COGNiTiON Science and Discovery Center. Other things to note The cottage has air conditioning, and it works wonderfully most of the summer. However, if you happen to stay during a particularly hot spell, the cottage will show its age and have some trouble fully reaching the bedrooms upstairs. Each room has a ceiling fan and portable fan to help you stay cool during those rare times.
