Description
Clutha Cottage is situated in a wonderfully secluded location in Kames Estate. Surrounded by neighbouring fields and woodland, and with direct access into the 18th century walled garden, Clutha is a favourite with families and groups. Clutha has recently been refurbished. This self catering cottage sleeps up to nine guests: two double bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room, are located downstairs; a further twin room and triple room are located upstairs. The space Clutha Cottage is located in the small private estate of Kames Castle, nestled between Kames Bay and beautiful Scottish Countryside. This spacious self-catering cottage is one of 7 cottages located throughout 20 acres of private grounds, comprising extensive lawns, a wooded area and an 18th Century walled garden. A number of facilities are available for guest use during the summer months including a BBQ, an all-weather tennis court, small putting green, croquet and football goals - all at no extra cost. Other things to note Guests are asked to take suitable care when staying at Kames, particularly those staying with children. There is an open stream that runs at the edge of the estate – please note that this has no fence surround. Our groundsman works throughout the year and often uses machinery, for example to mow lawns and chop logs. A number of areas in the grounds are marked ‘Private’ or ‘No Unauthorised Access’ – these must be strictly adhered to. Finally, in an effort to encourage wildlife into the estate, the wooded area is – as far as possible – left to grow naturally so inevitably has fallen branches, leaves and some muddy areas. We kindly ask guests to take necessary care. Registration Details AR01697F
