"Oakwood " Dog Friendly

Our lovely wooden home, in an idyllic valley 1.5 miles from Bantham Beach, is the perfect place to experience the beauty of the South Hams whilst enjoying a more private location to return to. The views of cows strolling the opposite hillside in the morning and the quiet offered by the valley make Oakwood a wonderful base for a holiday. Perfect for a young family or couple. Well behaved pets are welcome! The space It takes about 20 minutes to drive to Oak Wood from the A38, approaching through Loddiswell and Churchstow or via Modbury to reduce the number of single track lanes. If you arrive in the dark bring a torch as you will traverse a large garden and to access the house. Guest access You will have full access to the house and two gardens; one large lawn area to the north side of the house which you cross from the car parking area and then a more secure and private inner area which is fenced for dogs. Please do not go through the gates in to the woodland area on the south side of the garden as this is not fenced and there are stinging nettles and some of the wild plants will be poisonous. Other things to note This location is very rural but there are other houses and cabins in the valley so you are not isolated but please be courteous and respectful of our neighbours privacy
