Located 800 meters from the Cathedral of Como, Villa Bertacchi dominates the city from above thanks to its location on the border between the town and the forest. The villa is surrounded by greenery and allows you to stay out of town while being in the city. From the house there is direct access to the path that leads to the monastery of San Donato and to Brunate. The villa can only be reached on foot via a 140-meter path and 130 steps. We will help you to carry on our luggage on your arrival The space Villa Bertacchi Sud is the south-facing half (towards the lake and the woods) of an independent villa with a large private garden. It has a total of 12 beds. The villa is on 2 floors (140 sqm). On the first floor we find the LUNA apartment (50 sqm - 4/6 beds) consisting of a large double bedroom with king size bed plus a sofa bed, a dining room with a French sofa bed, the kitchen (with induction plate, microwave, refrigerator) and 1 bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is the fantastic attic (80 sqm), with independent access. The attic has a large kitchen / living room (with gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, table with chairs and a sofa bed), a bathroom with shower and can accommodate 4/6 people. The roof, made of exposed wooden beams, and two amazing terraces, one with a view of the woods and the other overlooking the lake, make it a very romantic and relaxing place. ATTENTION: the attic will be available from the end of June 2021! On the -1 floor in the laundry room you will find the washing machine and everything you need for the laundry. The large outdoor spaces ensure that the two parts of the villa have dedicated and exclusive spaces, set up with tables, armchairs, sofas and deck chairs. The swimming pool is accessible to the guests of villa Bertacchi north and villa Bertacchi south. Guest access The charm of Villa Bertacchi arises from the fact that it is immersed in the woods while being only 800 meters from the Duomo and the city center. To access the house, however, you have to walk through a path of 140 meters and 130 steps. Upon your arrival we will help you to carry your luggage. Other things to note The pedestrian way to the house can be tiring for families with small children and people with walking difficulties. But we assure you that the effort is worth it!
