Upstairs is a lovely little bedroom, a breezy porch sitting area and a kids room. Downstairs enjoy a cozy kitchenette with a funky hand tiled countertop, a pullout futon couch and a full rustic bathroom attached. This space is perfect for a family with kids, or adults fulfilling their childhood treehouse dreams. :) *Stairs* The space The TreeLodge is one of our newest additions to our collection of fun and creative guest spaces here at Nomads Land. You will love the artsy cozy vibe of the living area and kitchenette with a mini fridge on the porch, and your own private full bathroom downstairs. Then climb up the stairs to find an air conditioned bedroom with a hand painted door, a sitting area on the porch to catch the summer breeze, and a kid sized door leading into “the kids room” with lots of pillows and cushions for a delightful sleepover. **Please note: this is a two story unit with an outdoor staircase and there is a short steep climb up from your parking space to the Tree lodge. While many folks might just like to take it easy and dial down the activity for a true retreat, we have a wide variety of options for those looking for something to do nearby! From hiking Nocallula Falls, bouldering the world class rocks at Horse Pens 40, kayaking Little River Canyon or Terrapin Creek, or the fishing piers off the Coosa in Gadsden. There are many outdoor activities we can point you towards. Attalla has a quaint downtown full of antique shops. Nearby Gadsden has just about any kind of restaurant that could be desired, from Thai, to Italian, to an Irish pub as well as Back Forty, our own local brewery. The Coffee Bar is a nice new establishment with good WiFi! Activities like The Factory trampoline park, our local movie theater and Gadsden State theater all provide options for rainy day enjoyment. Other things to note *There is a steep hill to climb up to the TreeLodge from your parking spot *There is an outdoor staircase up to the bedrooms. The bathroom and living room are downstairs Nomad's Land is a Christ-centered community and retreat. We happily host travelers and wanderers seasonally, in the fall and spring and on a quieter and simpler capacity in the summer. We especially focus our lives on Rainbow Gatherings and the traveling counter-culture. You might see tattoos and dreadlocks when visiting our place. We also have a community garden, chicken coop, a couple dogs and cats and families, so shared space needs to remain family friendly, with respect to others space and personal property. You can expect that kind of respect from us as well! You are welcome to bring your furry friend along, we just ask for you to be 100% responsible for cleaning up after them, keeping them with you, and not allowing them to destroy any property or chase our chickens. -Illegal DRUGS *including marijuana* will not be tolerated.
