Our home is located on almost an acre of land and overlooks a private 15 acre lake with our private dock. It was completed in 2018. The two suites are located in the walkout lower level, which has a private entrance through the garage. You will have access to a full kitchen and laundry area as well as a living area. Outdoor amenities include a spacious patio with large fire pit, a private dock and paddle boat. TV with Netflix and wifi included. Home sits between I 65 and I465 on NW side. While the space has some common areas (kitchen, living room, laundry), it would be seldom that you would see us in that area. Each bedroom has its own keyless lock and will be completely private. You will enjoy a quiet environment both inside and out. Sit on the patio and enjoy the lake view, kayak or peddle boat around the lake, or take a swim. Each bedroom has its own unique artwork. We are just a five minute walk to Eagle Creek Park. There is a bike trail right across the street from our front drive. While only a 15 minute drive to downtown Indy, you'll be removed from the hustle of urban living. Entry into the home is through the garage with your own keyless entry code. Each bedroom has its own keyless entry code as well. Guest space is located in the lower level of the home, with 17 steps from the garage to the downstairs. The lower level has a walkout to the patio and back yard as well, so it is possible to enter the home without stairs, as long as someone else is inside to unlock the sliding doors. There will be someone in the house most of the time, since my husband and I are retired and live on the main level. We are available by phone, text or email from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. The third person living in the house is also available, should we not answer immediately. We are less than half a mile from the North entrance to Eagle Creek Park and Intech Park in the NW corner of Indy. Enjoy the Park's many amenities: birdwatching, hiking trails, swimming, boating, biking, nature center and more. Access to two of the main interstates in our city, I65 and I465 is literally less than two minutes to either one, with the result that you can get anywhere in the metropolitan area in less than 30 minutes. We are known for large mature trees and private quiet living. Our lake allows for small, quiet engines or paddle boating. Kayaks, canoes and paddleboards are seen regularly. Catch and release fishing is allowed. If you like to watch birds, bring your binoculars, as there will be plenty to watch, both in the trees and on the lake. Restaurants and some shopping is just one exit away on I465. We are a 15 minute drive from/to Indpls airport. Starbucks, and a favorite breakfast/lunch cafe, LePeep Restaurant, are just 2 minutes away. Dinner and movie theaters are close by. You'll want a car or plan to use Uber/Lyft, as public transportation isn't easily accessible from our house. With that said, you couldn't find a place that is more conveniently located for road or bicycle travel. Right across from the house is the walking/bike path that connects to the extensive bike path system that Indpls is becoming known for. Access the interstate from the end of the driveway in less than 2 minutes. You can get downtown in 15 minutes One of us is a Lyft driver and can be available for transportation, with advance notice. There is plenty of space to park multiple vehicles.
