Discover a secluded countryside escape, 15 minutes from the city of Louisville. The lower level walkout guest unit features a private entrance, an open-plan living area, a kitchen and bar, large patio, and access to the pool. Floats and toys provided • Private covered patio with couch, chairs & swing • 65” TV in living room area with Netflix, Hulu, & local TV • Strong Wi-Fi • Laundry Room with washer & dryer • Queen size sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress • Fully stocked kitchen, however there is not a conventional oven. Stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven with air fryer, and bar with basic kitchen tools/utensils • Working area with desk and office chair • 32” TV in bedroom • Ping Pong Table • Game cabinet Guest access You have complete access to the pool, property, and finished basement. Other things to note We have 3 dogs that live with us on the upper level of the house. They are very playful and you may hear them walking around on the hardwood floors upstairs occasionally. We try to keep the noise to a minimum, but a pup will be a pup! We are located in Southern Indiana & just miles from Louisville, KY. We are near the Sherman Minton bridge, which does not require a toll if you do decide to travel to the Bluegrass state. We’ve listed a few of our favorite attractions here, and are happy to help and offer suggestions if needed. - Huber’s Winery - 15 mins - We might be biased since they are a local staple, but they produce some of the best wine we’ve ever had. Distillery tours and wine tastings - need I say more? - New Albany Farmer’s Market - 14 mins - Open every Saturday, even in the winter. - Valley View Golf Course - 6 mins - 6900 yard, 18 hole, par 72 course. - Churchill Downs - 25 mins - Thoroughbred racetrack most famous for annually hosting the Kentucky Derby. - Kentucky Science Center - 18 mins - Great for the kiddos! - Mount St. Francis - 8 mins - Beautiful nature preserve with walking trails & lake. Also home to the Franciscan Friars who offer opportunities for spiritual renewal to all people. - Louisville Slugger Museum - 18 mins - Factory tours & Babe Ruth’s giant bat! - Fourth Street Live! - 20 mins - More than a dozen restaurants, bars, and nightlife hotspots
