Beautiful cottage in coastal, village location.

It is not surprising that Clematis Cottage (dog friendly) has regular returning guests. Beautifully presented, it offers a warm welcome, with its open fire, spacious en-suite bedrooms, a characterful kitchen and enclosed gardens. Situated in Kingston, close to Wonwell, Westcombe and Ayrmer beaches, the village has a pub and recreation park. A short drive takes you to the stunning coastal villages of Salcombe, Thurlestone and Bigbury with golf, fishing, tennis and an abundance of water sports. The space The utillity room is ideal for dogs and leads on to a downstairs cloakroom with WC. The well equipped kitchen/diner is dual aspect, overlooking both gardens to the front and rear. The spacious lounge has a beautiful open fire with a seating for 6 people. The staircase leads to 2 large bedrooms each with a private bathroom and space for a cot/camp bed. Larger groups can be accommodated by booking our sister property next door, Rambling Rose, which sleeps 7. Rambling Rose is on Airbnb too, Guest access The cottage has private off road parking for one car. You can walk to 3 dog friendly beaches from the door and the village pub is just a 5 minute walk. It is just a short drive away from the Georgian town of Modbury and the coastal towns of Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Water sports are available at nearby Bigbury. Please note, in high season we only accept 7/14 night bookings, with change over day on a Friday. For the remaining year, we ask for bookings for a minimum of 4 nights. Other things to note We live locally and very happy to help you plan your holiday. There is private parking at the cottage for one large vehicle. Additional parking can be found in the village by the church and also on lane parking by the cottage. We live in the village and are happy to have boats, additional cars and trailers at out home, where there is plenty of space for you to come and go as you please. Please note, bookings for 3 nights or less, will be charged at an additional cost of £50 per night. We only take a minimum of 7 nights during peak season July/August.
