Vintage Guesthouse experience where you share living space ( your bedroom is private) with your host & other guests in a warm, inviting place to relax & refresh. Continental breakfast is provided. Requirements: All guests must have a fully verified profile & be linked to reservation. No children under 12, please. 2 adult guest maximum. Free street parking available. House is NOT smoke friendly. The space Newly redecorated Blue Room is 1 of 2 bedrooms available in my lovely, updated 100+ year old craftsman home. ( Built in 1912) This is a home sharing/ guest house situation where your warm and welcoming (and a native San Diegan) Host lives onsite. She has great recommendations for restaurants, places to see and does her best to ensure a pleasant stay. The Blue Room is of large size, features a canopy queen size bed ( hybrid mattress), small writing desk, reading nook, tv (Fire TV ) and lots of natural light. Small closet with rod, hangers for you to unpack and make yourself at home and a full length mirror on the door, (but please note there is no dresser. ) This room shares the guest bath with the other available guest room. Guest bathroom is updated, bright with large lovely shower, filled with colored coded cozy towels, shampoo, & body wash for your convenience. Breakfast bar in the dining room provides all the items for a yummy Continental Breakfast. (Please note, guests have no access to kitchen whatsoever. ) Please advise host prior to check in of any laundry sensitivities to ensure a comfortable stay. ALL guests must have fully verified Airbnb profiles & be linked to reservation. Check is time is 3-4PM. With a little advanced notice, check in time can be flexible. A early/late check in fee may be applied in certain circumstances. Please ask or see house rules for details. No pets, please! Guests travelling with Service /ESA animals should be aware I have received an exemption from Airbnb and will not be able to accommodate you. Dogs do live in the house. Guests who are allergic, or afraid of dogs will not be comfortable in my home. House is NOT 420 friendly (edibles are fine, see house rules), and no outdoor/ street shoes to be worn indoors. FIRM 2 adult guest maximum. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. My home is not appropriate for children under 12. Please see house rules to set realistic expectations regarding your stay. If you believe there is any chance you might not be able to make your trip, Travel Insurance should always be considered, unless you have other protections in place. Yogurt, bread, coffee and fresh fruit are some of the regular choices. Feel free to enjoy coffee creamers in the mini fridge. If you have other dietary restrictions or preferences, the market right across the street can provide you with lots of other options. A mini fridge (space is VERY limited), toaster and small microwave are also available for guest use during breakfast hours. Please clean up after yourself. Living and dining areas are shared as well, grab a book or watch cable TV and relax in a recliner in the living room. Grab a bite to eat or work on the open puzzle in the dining room ( available during winter months) . Guests do not have any access to kitchen. Plenty of free, unrestricted street parking all around the house. Your host is lively, kind and an extreme extrovert with firm boundaries. Please communicate your social needs clearly. During your stay Host is available most of the time. I live in the home or I'm just an Airbnb message away. If you are interested in a walking/hiking partner, or need a partner for some adventures in eating ( I know some great hole in the wall places with great food!), I'm your girl. Would love to take you to Balboa Park and ride the Merry-go-Round. Other things to note My tortoise Franklin love to interact with my guests. Let me know if you'd like to feed him.
