We have a great space to make your home base for a trip to Floyd and the mountains of Southwest Virginia. Less than a mile from the stoplight in the Town of Floyd, this 4 bedroom, 2 bath home sits on 9 beautiful and tranquil acres. Depending on the time of year you visit, you can wander out back and find apples or peaches on the trees. You’re likely to have deer stopping by to enjoy the apple trees, and quite possibly some wild turkeys and other wild life. A great place to relax and explore! The space You will have access to the entire main floor of this beautiful brick ranch house. Built in the late 60’s, with a gorgeous sunroom addition, built in the 80’s, it is the perfect spot for a home base in the New River Valley of VA. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen beds and one with a double bed. We have a full kitchen, with all the cooking utensils you should need, and two full bathrooms with one sink each and tub/shower combos. A spacious brick back porch, with gas grill, is perfect for summer meals. We have WiFi and one TV in the sunroom, set up with basic cable. Guest access You will have access to the entire main floor of the house. The basement is currently being used for storage, and is locked off. The main yard and surrounding grounds are beautiful to explore and play on. Perfect for a family game of touch football, frisbee and just relaxing. There are several seating options outside on the brick back patio. Other things to note This is our family home, that we grew up in. Our grandfather was an antique dealer, so there are beautiful antique pieces of furniture and decor that we hope you will enjoy. Because of this, there are breakable pieces, potentially at kid level. Please be mindful of this, as you make yourselves at home here. We have created some spaces we think kids would enjoy playing in, in different rooms of the house, and outside.
